So... I was going to wait until after my wedding day to give my review but heck, I will leave another one then! I couldn't wait. Hiring Jacki has by far been the best decision of my entire wedding planning process other than saying yes to my fiancé. I have struggled with my weight since I was little and never in a million years did I think I would look at photos of myself and feel beautiful the way she has made me feel with just a couples shoot and engagement session. Here are just a couple examples: 1. Before my couples shoot where I ended up getting engaged ultimately, she had talked with my fiance over the phone days before and was thorough in their planning to the point that she told him not to let me take photos with my hand on his chest because I would feel his heart beat and know something was up. Who even thinks of that kind of thing??? 2. Before that day I told her about my fears of being in front of a camera and instead of the generic "oh, stop, you're beautiful" she acknowledged by insecurities by asking for my best side, positioning my hands, everything to make me look back on these photos and think wow... I can actually LOOK AT THESE and focus on the love between me and my fella and the happiness on our faces, as opposed to constantly critiquing myself. That wouldn't have happened with just any photographer, especially for someone as self conscious as myself. 3. For my engagement session, I had lost one of my grandparents weeks prior and actually had to cancel my original session for that reason. I wanted to recreate a photo of theirs for my mom after everything we had been through. She captured it within seconds after studying the photo and its angles so intricately, my whole family and so many of my friends have been blown away. It brought my mom to tears. Priceless. 4. The woman wanted to badly for me to have my basic girl fall photos she swept up a ton of leaves toward an in ground firepit when it was so friggin cold outside I could hardly feel my hands, just because she thought it would look more like what I wanted. I don't think that was in her contract to do things like that just to snap a couple pictures with us and my ring. Here is my point: someone will always have something negative to say or something they wish had been done differently, but I don't have anything to offer here in that regard. Jacki has been incredible to work with and I have no doubt whatsoever she will capture our most special moments and our most special love on our wedding day next October. I will never stop being grateful to her for giving us the ability to look back on these and do nothing but smile. 10/10 would recommend!

Jacki exceeded our expectations in every single way! We had read so many positive reviews about her company on multiple platforms that we decided to contact her in regards to our engagement/wedding photos. We could tell from our initial conversation that she was going to do everything she could to make our photos feel special and unique to us. We met up with her less than a week ago for our engagement photos and she made the session so much fun! My fiance and I were laughing and enjoying ourselves the entire time... we never felt uncomfortable the entire day. She has such a keen eye to spot what poses would look perfect in so many different backgrounds. When she was able to give us five "sneak peek" photos the SAME day... I was blown away. They turned out so well and we couldn't wait to see all of the photos she took. She got all of our photos back within five days. Jacki's professionalism, personality and overall skill make her company something I would recommend to anyone trying to capture any type of special day. We cannot wait to see what kind of magic she will work on our wedding days. Cheers!

I hired Jacki for two separate occasions: Gender Reveal and Newborn photos, and I will be choosing her over and over again. She’s extremely professional, genuinely cares about her work and YOUR moments. Her style, editing and how she frames you in (idk photography terms) is very versatile and unique. She catches your favorite moments effortlessly because she knows her angles and how to catch those candid moments, which are personally my favorite. She was very helpful with my newborn and moved quickly. She puts her personal touch on each photo with her beautiful editing style which seems to heighten the quality of them. I’ve had SO many people compliment her photos. I highly recommend her; She listens and delivers 100%.

Working with Jacki was easily one of the best wedding-planning decisions we made. She is so sweet and friendly, and was very communicative through the whole process. She was also incredibly patient and thoughtful on the day itself, coming up with beautiful photo ideas I wouldn't have thought of, and going out of her way to make sure we got the best possible shots. The pictures came out absolutely stunning - I love her style and the way she edited them was gorgeous - and I haven't stopped looking at them since she sent us the album! We had a wonderful experience working with her. 10/10 would recommend.

Jaclyn was amazing to work with! My husband and I did our engagement photo shoot with her and she went above and beyond to find the right area to shoot at with our unconventional aviation theme. Then she amazed us and our wedding guest with awesome photos at our wedding. All of our guest were in love with her and her assistant. The quality of photos were good and matched the whole design of our wedding. Photos are easily downloadable, and she is easy to contact.

There was absolutely no question that we were going to try to book Let Me Be Photography for our wedding. We booked her for our engagement shoot and our wedding and she immediately sent us the sneak peak of both within a few hours of the event. The shots were amazing. If you do not feel comfortable in front of the camera, Jacki has the tricks to make you feel comfortable. She also had some great ideas of places to shoot in downtown Columbus! She was absolutely amazing with our huge, crazy wedding party. She got all of our pictures completed with ease, even with all 27 of us. Lol Our pictures were taken and edited beautifully; Jacki found some beautiful fall foliage as the background of the majority of our outdoor photos. She also got a lot of great reception photos too.
I full-heartedly recommend booking Let Me Be Photography - I know I will for all my future photography needs.

Jacki did such an amazing job with our engagement session! We are not a photogenic couple but she did such an amazing job getting us to be comfortable in front of the camera and laugh! She took what I envisioned for our pictures and made it come to life. I highly recommend her and can’t wait to work with her again in the future !!!
