Sean and Kayla
Kayla reached out to me through social media inquiring about wedding photography last year. During our conversation, she mentioned that our significant others went to middle school together, which I thought was so cool! We got to chatting and decided to meet up at Starbucks to get to know each other better. As soon as I met them I KNEW I wanted to photograph their wedding day.
Today, when you want to meet that special someone it’s not unheard of to lean towards dating apps like Eharmony, Match or even Christian Mingle. However, Kayla and Sean had a different idea. They decided to give Tinder a try. It was love at first swipe. When you connect with someone and truly enjoy their company, spending hours together can feel like only a few minutes. They realized that, what felt like a twenty-minute conversatio, they had been talking for three hours. Time just flew by. From that point on they didn’t want to spend a minute apart. Sean decided that it was time to propose. He had it all planned out to pop the question in front of all of their closest friends at El Mason right after Kayla graduated hair school. Of course she said yes!

Sean and Kaylas wedding was my first wedding of 2020 and I enjoyed every second of it. From seeing Kayla and all of her girlfriends having a ball in the dressing room to Sean non-stop smiling before the ceremony, it was a beautiful day. They ate cake, danced on the dance floor and laughed the whole night. Their smiles only made me smile to the point where my cheeks actually hurt by the end of the night. But I wouldn’t change it for the world because bable to capture their genuine love for each other is the reason I love what I do.
